Suffer the children, for they are the unwitting victims of terrible circumstance and bungling adults  

In many poor regions of the world, children cannot access even the most basic healthcare.  Doctors and medical supplies are in short supply — and all too often, nonexistent.  The suffering is incalculable. The victims innocent, children — often unwitting victims of the schemes of adults who should know better.   Hundreds of thousands of these children are desperate beyond any concept of desperate that we could conceive.
